Not too long ago a concept for an elevated bus which cars could drive under emerged out of China. And now, they have only gone and made it a reality.
This video shows the initial test of the elevated bus, which sits on tracks either side of the road, with room for cars to drive underneath.
The idea is to ease traffic congestion, as buses are notorious for creating gridlock as they stop and start, and move at glacial speeds.
However, this requires elevated platforms and modified roads to even work. It also doesn’t accomodate trucks, and the risk of cars crashing underneath is surely high.
So, back to the drawing board, perhaps?
