Love or hate Taylor Swift, you have to admit she knows how to write catchy pop songs. And her latest single, Shake It Off, is no exception.
Shake It Off is Swift answering her critics, of which there are many. She addresses their main complaints and then dismisses them out of hand, which is actually a rather healthy attitude.
The music video for Shake It Off features Swift dancing in a number of different styles. Twerking is included, but not by Swift herself, who is probably too thin and gangly to pull it off.
Shake It Off is the first single from new album 1989, which is a reference to the year Swift was born. It’s more of the same pop nonsense, which will surely please her fans.
