Am I the only person to be a little creeped out by this video? And to think it’s actually a little cruel rather than cute and fun?
This is the ‘And Finally’ segment if ITN News, which was made famous by Trevor McDonald but which has now found a new home on the Internet. They’re basically fun and frivolous stories about animals and other banalities.
This one tells the story of a Cuban farm dog who as well as feeding her own offspring feeds the 14 piglets. Who are, it should be noted, also feeding from their mother. The greedy bastards.
The dog looks thin and unhappy, so I’m not sure I agree with the light-hearted tone the voiceover lady uses. And isn’t interspecies feeding just a little bit, well, sick? It’s wrong, definitely.
