Depending on how old you are, you’ll either know David Icke as a goalkeeper, a sports presenter, or a conspiracy theorist who thinks 1984 was a book detailing our future history rather than a work of fiction.
This video is an episode of Wogan: Then and Now with Icke as the guest. We get to see his original appearance on Wogan where Icke claimed to be the Son of God, and what he believes now. He’s still not making any sense.
That’s a tad unfair. Some of his views now do seem to be anchored in reality, but many of them are way out there. I do think there’s some strange stuff going on but the British royal family being half-lizard half-human? I don’t think so somehow.
The best bits of this video are the way Terry Wogan tries to keep a straight face and not burst out laughing at every opportunity, and how the audience are this time on Icke’s side, laughing at his jibe against Wogan’s naivety concerning America.
