I’m not a big racing fan, but this video just made my day. This racecar driver is having the time of his life in the lead. He’s on his last lap, has the window rolled down, and is seconds away from the finish line.
Feeling cocky, the hot-shot decides to have a little pre-victory celebration. With a just over a few meters to go, what could possibly go wrong?
After he “pumps his fist” in excitement (I actually have a different hand-gesture theory) he loses control of the vehicle and swerves straight into the wall. Quickly, the car ricochets back too battered to move.
If you watch closely, you can see a few people on the sidelines run for their lives. Milliseconds later, however, spectators start swarming to see the wreck. Humiliated, he steps out of the car and furiously throws his helmet on the ground.
