If Elvis Presley were still alive, he’d have been 75-years-old today. He was born on Jan. 8, 1935, and unfortunately passed away in 1977 at the tender age of 42, But not before first becoming the king of rock ‘n’ roll.

Elvis Presley has managed to stay both successful and popular despite having been dead for more than 30 years. And it isn’t just people who grew up with him in their lives, with young people also being turned onto his music.
Which means today is being commemorated by millions of people around the world. I’m sure there’ll be a fair share of Elvis impersonators taking this opportunity to live out their dreams, but most of us will just spare a thought or two for Elvis.
