This video shows the first TV spot for After Earth, the latest film from M. Night Shyamalan. It looks like his run of bad films is going to continue with this one. It looks like being a stinker and no mistake.
After Earth tells the story of the next 1,000 years, by which time humans have abandoned planet Earth for pastures new.
However, Will Smith and his son Jaden crash-land on the planet and have to fight to survive. Apparently the animals have evolved to hunt humans in this time, even though humans have been living elsewhere.
From the bad science to the prospect of another M. Night Shyamalan twist ending, After Earth really has got crap film plastered all over it. It’s out in May but I’d avoid it at all costs.
