Destiny, the new game from Bungie, isn’t due to be released until September 9.
In advance of the full release, Bungie is running a Destiny beta, which gives gamers a chance to play an early version of the game, and the developers a chance to iron out the bugs.
This video is the official trailer for the Destiny beta, and it shows a smattering of the press coverage received so far, parts of the story, and a little gameplay too.
The background to the game is you being a guardian watching over the last human city, with aliens threatening to wipe us out.
Destiny is primarily a first-person shooter, but with MMO elements thrown in for good measure. If you like Halo then you’ll like this. And you should try and get into the Destiny beta before it’s too late.
