Surge is back!!!
What is Surge? It’s a syrupy soda sold during the 1990s. Or rather not sold during the 1990s. It was available, sure, but it sold in such small numbers that it was withdrawn from sale in 2001.
But now it’s back! Thanks to a Facebook campaign which saw more than 100,000 people calling for its return over the last few years.
Surge IS available to buy once again, but only through Amazon, meaning you have to commit to buying a case rather than just randomly pick up a can from a convenience store.
This is one sugary drink, with 56 grams of the stuff in a 16-ounce can. So, it’s diabetes waiting to happen, but it’ll probably still sell in huge quantities regardless of its unhealthiness.
