World on Fire shows individual stories of people caught up in the outbreak of World War II, as the Nazis invaded Poland in 1939.
As this is a BBC drama, the casting and acting is superb. And while it can’t compete with the epic scale of something like Game of Thrones, World on Fire is a compelling drama.
One scene in particular has got people talking, as it shows the British Fascists, as led by Oswald Mosley, a real-life person who was recently depicted in Peaky Blinders as well.
