The FFXIV beta is now officially open to all. But if you do manage to get into it you should try and avoid doing what this n00b does: get your team killed by what looks like a steroid-abusing sheep.
Final Fantasy XIV is looking good at this point, and the open beta should help iron out all the bugs and issues. Although it’s an open beta you still need to register and login, and that’s causing problems right now.
This video shows gameplay footage from the beta, and we get to see a group of players first attacking, and then being attacked back, by a strange muscular sheep-looking creature.
Final Fantasy XIV, which is an online MMORPG, is being released on PC later this month, with the PS3 version following in March 2011.
