We’ve featured quite a few videos from Flight Of The Conchords here on WebTVHub over the past six months, and here is yet another slice of brilliance.
It shows the two main characters in their alter egos as the Hiphopopotamus and the Rhymenoceros. Basically, two white guys trying their hand at Hip-Hop, and failing miserably. Then again, they’re meant to.
Some of the lyrics in this song are much cleverer than what you’d find in a real Hip-Hop song by Snoop Dogg or P. Diddy and the like, but they’re also a but wussy. “Motherflipping” being a case in point.
They’re also extremely funny, as is the style the whole thing is delivered in. It seems there isn’t a genre that Flight Of The Conchords can’t successfully rip the piss out of.
