Those of us who have kids know how annoying those children’s songs can get, especially when they want to play them 400 times in a row. The Kids’ Bop albums only made things worse, taking pop songs and recording them kid-style. But here’s an album that you might want to buy your little one, if you’re a rock fan. Too bad it’s not for real.
This parody takes standard children’s songs and redoes them in the styles of several popular rock performers. There’s Pearl Jam singing Old McDonald Had a Farm to the tune of Evenflow, Metallica singing Bingo in the style of Enter Sandman, and much more.
All of the songs were good, but the bonus McDonald’s commercial by Guns ‘N Roses was stellar. It makes me want to go buy a Happy Meal.
