If you ever wanted proof that people rely on their looks to get along then this video is it. Miss Utah really has no idea what she’s talking about, and can hardly even get the words out.
Miss Utah was asked, “Women are the primary earners yet they continue to earn less than men. What does it say about society?” To which she gave the long rambling answer in the clip, which included the gem, “We need to figure out how to create education better so that we can solve this problem.”
The whole idea of beauty pageants is ridiculous anyway. Everybody has a different idea of what is beautiful and what isn’t beautiful, so the results of these things is based purely on the biases of the judges.
And then this happens, and further proves the point that beauty pageants are pointless. Except for entertainment purposes, obviously.
