These guys sing a funny song and tune that at first looks like a poor attempt to hit on girls, and at second glance looks like something out of swinging, but soon we find out that it is the sad existence of those of us exiting our youthful years of the 20s.
Weekend Plans takes a funny twist on the concept of being 30 and married, and possibly with a rug rat in tow, and how the weekends have turned into early nights in bed because the babysitter will get mad, or a crazy-fun night of Cranium with friends and some good wine.
I can certainly relate to this video as my 20s begin to slip through my fingers and I see my 30s rumbling towards me at top speeds, but I have not yet resorted to nights of Yahtzee and Cranium, but I do see that in the not-so-distant future.
The aches and pains of getting older are inevitable and all relative, but they are real whether you are turning 30, 40 or 50. And perhaps all you need to make it through is a sense of humor and some good wine.
