Ryan Davis, video game journalist, blogger, podcaster, vodcaster, and entrepreneur, has died at the tragically young age of 34.
This video shows Davis in good spirits playing a round of Cards Against Humanity with Giant Bomb friends while drinking beer and having a laugh.
Davis was a longtime editor at GameSpot before co-founding Giant Bomb, a new type of gaming site which coupled serious journalism with an innate funniness.
The details surrounding his death haven’t been revealed, but it’s known that he passed away just a week after his wedding, and therefore leaves behind a new wife, as well as other family and friends.
The tributes to Ryan Davis have poured in thick and fast, and it seems not a bad word could be said about the guy. Which makes the whole thing even more tragic.
