I’m a huge fan of the Guitar Hero games, owning them all (apart from the Aerosmith cash-in) and playing them all to death over the past two years. Unfortunately, I can’t afford Rock Band.
But maybe I don’t have to, as this guy demonstrates how you can play Guitar Hero 3 using homemade drum pads. Yes, that’s right, he’s playing the guitar part on the drums.
This guy must be a drummer in real-life because there’s no way a non-musician could ever accomplish this level of stickmanship. He misses a few notes here and there but it’s still mightily impressive.
Now all I need is all the parts to make my own drum pads, the knowledge of how to construct it, and to wire it all up. Oh, and the skill level required to film myself using it. Nope, never going to happen.
