The Windoes 8.1 Preview has been released this week, giving early adopters a chance to update Windows 8 to its latest (and clearly greatest) version.
This video shows The Verge going hands-on with Windows 8.1 and detailing the changes Microsoft has made to its operating system.
The Start button has been brought back, which should help silence the whiners who have complained about its disappearance. Other complaints have also been addressed.
There are new customization options, improvements made to core apps, and makeovers for many of the elements included in Windows 8.
Windows 8.1 looks to have improved Windows 8 by quite a margin. This update, which will be released to all later in 2013, arguably turns Windows 8 into the best operating system ever released.
