Wing walker Jane Wicker has died in a horrific plane crash alongside her pilot Charlie Schwenker. The pair, Jane aged 44, Charlie aged 64, perished during an acrobatic display at the Vectren Air Show near Dayton, Ohio.
This video shows the whole incident in rather lurid detail. You can see the plane being flown by Schwenker and carrying Wicker flying upside-down before it crashes into the ground.
The plane immediately burst into flames, leaving its passengers no chance of survival. However, witnesses reported hearing screaming coming from the wreckage in the immediate aftermath of the crash.
This is tragic, but then both victims knew the risks associated with what they were attempting. Plus it could have been a lot worse if the plane had crashed into the spectators present.
