It has been 18 years since terrorists flew planes into the World Trade Center in New York, and the Pentagon in Virginia. And yet the footage of the attack and the aftermath is still as powerful as ever.
This video shows the first plane being flown into the North Tower of the World Trade Center complex. And it still makes me feel sick to the pit of my stomach.
This attack changed the world in a number of ways, none of them good. And I often wonder what the world would be like had the 9/11 attacks not happened.
The loss of life was incredible, with thousands dying on the day, and many more thousands dying as a result of the military action which followed.
