Artie Lange, actor, comedian, and long-time Howard Stern sidekick, has had problems for a long while. But they’ve now got out of control, with Lange having attempted suicide on Saturday.

Lange reportedly tried to kill himself by stabbing himself nine times. Three of the wounds were considered serious, being deep enough to inflict damage, with six being hesitation wounds. Unsurprisingly, it’s hard to stab yourself as your survival instinct kicks in.
Lange was found by his mother and rushed to hospital. He was treated in time to save his life, and is now starting the inevitably long road to recovery.
