Since the beginning of the reality television boom, different shows have targeted different audiences. It seems as though reality TV show watchers are decreasing, and people are instead turning to the world wide web for reality entertainment.
Today, Infomedia announced the newest online reality show called The Next Internet Millionaire. The show will premiere on August 15th.
After soliciting online video auditions, the show chose twelve contestants to compete for $25,000 cash and a joint venture with a successful internet entrepreneur, Joel Comm. That’s the goal of the show: to find an ideal business partner for Comm.
The contestants include six men and six women from the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, and Costa Rica. They will learn from experts and compete in challenges to test their leadership skills, creativity, and other business-related abilities.
After watching the one-minute teaser, I have to say that I’m impressed. The production quality of the teaser and the quality of the website itself is great. It makes me excited to see what the first episode will be like on August 15th.
