I’d hazard a guess that you have never ever wondered what a log sees when it’s being cut into planks at a timber factory. However, it turns out that the answer is quite interesting.
This video shows the automated processes in a timber yard, all from the point of view of a log being fed through the system.
We see how the log would be transported along rollers, before being cut into equally sized slices. And it’s pretty fascinating stuff.
Just don’t watch this video if you’ve watched horror films or played video games where people get killed by circular saws. As this could give you nightmares.
