This video takes us inside the Caboodle Ranch, a non-profit cat sanctuary established in Florida by Craig Grant. It’s one of those clips that reminds you what a difference just one man can make.
The ranch was started in 2003 when Grant agreed to take care of his son’s cat, who he later learned was pregnant. He couldn’t bear to part with the kittens so he did what few of us would: bought some land and made a home for them.
The sanctuary now spans some 30 acres, which leaves his charges free to wander through nature trails and climb trees free from predators.
It’s easy to peg him as a crazy cat person, but there’s no doubt Grant is making a real difference.
