This is the short but rather intriguing trailer for the new Bonnie & Clyde mini-series from The History Channel. Unfortunately the trailer seems to have mis-sold the actual series.
I personally won’t be watching this new telling of the Bonnie and Clyde story as I completely reject the glorification of criminality. Especially murderers, as with Bonnie and Clyde.
Thankfully the reviews for the first half of the mini-series suggest I was right not to bother with this televisual monstrosity, as most agree that it’s absolute garbage.
The biggest problem is the lack of spark, with countless other movies and television series telling stories from the same era infinitely better. And then there are the historical inaccuracies which are unforgivable.
