Piers Morgan has been vilified for suggesting transgender woman Janet Mock was “born a boy.” So much so that he invited her back onto his show to demand an apology.
This is ridiculous. Piers Morgan is clearly supportive of the LGBT community, and an outspoken advocate of equal rights for all. So he does not deserve to be attacked in this way.
His only crime appears to be using a turn of phrase that the majority of people would use without realizing it may be offensive to some.
I wish Morgan hadn’t had Mock back on the show, because it’s just giving her more free publicity. Which is, I guess, what she was going for.
