Jennifer Hudson went through quite a lot in 2008. Last October, just a month after her self-titled album went gold, 3 of her family members were murdered. After such a tragic loss most weren’t expecting her to jump back into acting or even singing for a long while.
Judging by this performance, 2009 looks to be a better one for the former American Idol contestant.
Unlike most Americans, I’m not too crazy about the actual teams playing during the Super Bowl, but rather all the other events that take place. Aside from the $209 million spent on commercials this year, Jennifer Hudson’s comeback performance was another thing I was looking forward to.
In my opinion she sung it even better than she did at the Democratic National Convention last year. Those of you that can’t get enough of the woman will be happy to know that she also plans to appear at the Grammy Awards on February 8th.
