After a poor start to the season, Tottenham Hotspur have fired Mauricio Pochettino as their manager. And, wasting no time, they’ve appointed Jose Mourinho as their new manager.
This video shows how Tottenham fans have reacted to the news, which happened so quickly that it suggests Mourinho’s appointment was already in the bag before Pochettino departed.
Pochettino transformed Tottenham’s fortunes, changing the style of play, and bringing new players through into the first team. He also got Tottenham to the 2019 Champions League Final.
However, Tottenham haven’t won a trophy for over a decade, and the poor start to the 2019/2020 season meant a change was needed. Whether Mourinho is the answer remains to be seen.
