July 7th, or 7/7, has been dubbed Bungie Day. Okay, it was dubbed that by the folks at Bungie, and its legion of loyal fans, but that still counts right?
Bungie in this sense doesn’t mean you need to go out and jump from a bridge with elastic around you ankles, instead, this Bungie refers to the game developer behind the Halo games on the Xbox 360.
This video is the official Bungie Day awareness video, and features a cast of Halo 3 characters telling us what to expect to celebrate. Yes, there is free stuff involved.
It also informs us of the mission currently being fought to reach 7,000,000,000 Halo 3 campaign kills by Bungie Day, and for those who want to contribute to the effort, there isn’t long left to go.
