Kyle Massey, 21, has denied a Twitter rumor that he is dying of cancer. The hoax about the former ‘That’s So Raven’ actor and ‘Dancing with the Stars’ contestant was trending worldwide over the weekend.
“I want to say first, ‘I do not have cancer,’ and I don’t know where this inconsiderate and insensitive rumor originated from,” he said. “”My team and I are making every attempt to find out the original source of this story because it’s just not cool.”
He noted that the rumor is badly timed. “This hoax is just plain classless!” he said. “Especially in light of the various tragedies happening this weekend and the Trayvon Martin verdict.”
Truth be told, he could have ran with it and gained even more popularity then have a “rebirth” without anybody holding it against him. He isn’t the most famous Disney co-star exactly and could use some brownie points. Get on more shows dude! You’re a funny little guy! You deserve more than this!!!
