Lego Matrix ‘Trinity Help’ Video | Neo Dodges Tiny Plastic Bullets In Genius Remake

34 sec read

The Matrix Trilogy is getting on for being ten years old now. Pretty amazing then that the movies still stand up to scrutiny even now, with the visual effects not having yet been beaten.

Or have they? This Lego version certainly comes close.

It’s a testament to how good the original Matrix film is (the sequels being less revered) that people are still making spoofs and tributes to it. But this one blows all others completely out of the water.

It recreates, shot for shot, the scene on the rooftop when Neo faces up to an agent. It shows the agent easily avoiding bullets before Neo then has to do the same. It ends with the iconic shot of Trinity blowing the agent away with her gun.

This is absolute genius and must have taken so much work to achieve. Maybe, if the people behind this could be bothered, they should remake the whole film using Lego? I’d certainly pay to watch it.
