Man In Wheelchair Stops Robber (Video) | Hero or Unnecessary Force?

30 sec read

At first, this seems like one of those heartwarming stories of the underdog becoming a local hero.

But even with the theatrics that the news station throws in, I have a hard time believing that this handicapped man made the smartest move- he almost made the situation worse.

Had the guy who was passing off the allegedly counterfeit bill been carrying a gun, I’m sure this story wouldn’t have been so positive. It’s not like the guy was actually hurting the lady, if you ask me words could have easily resolved this situation.

And last of all, what if the dollar bill was actually real? I have personally been accused of trying to pass off a fake $20 bill when in reality the cashier was using the wrong marker. Notice the news station doesn’t actually follow-up on that detail.
