Megyn Kelly Defends Blackface Video | Are Halloween Costumes Racist?

Megyn Kelly is the latest person to fall foul of the outrage machine. This time for asking whether white people putting on blackface is actually racist.

Her question came during a discussion about Halloween costumes on Megyn Kelly Today. And it sounds quite bad out of context.

To be fair to Kelly, this was a small part of a bigger conversation. And she was merely suggesting that people should be allowed to dress up as their favorite black celebrity.

Unfortunately, context isn’t a thing these days, and the outrage machine went into overdrive to tell her how wrong she was. And she has since apologized.
