They say dogs don’t understand English, that they associate sounds and the tone of your voice with treats and nothing more. But after watching this video, I’m convinced that this dog understands every word that comes from his owner’s mouth.
Fetch is a favorite game amongst dog owners, but few play it quite like this. This pooch can’t get the ball until his owner says.
In the meantime we see him spin around and walk backwards and forwards until his nose is nearly touching his favorite toy. I can’t imagine how tempted he must feel to disobey!
It’s impressive, but also a bit like doggy torture. You can almost feel how much Rover wants that ball!
