You’ve probably heard by now that NASA has bombed the moon in a completely ludicrous act of destruction. But the live video feed of LCROSS mission control did at least provide one funny moment worth watching.
The video shows a recording of the live video feed from LCROSS mission control immediately after the impact on the surface of the moon. The mission was a success, and some of the scientists start to celebrate.
Nine seconds into the video, the guy bottom left decides to go for the classic high five with the guy who seems overeager to clean up. Unfortunately, the first scientist is left hanging after the second completely ignores him.
This is a fail of epic proportions, especially as this video was being beamed live around the world over the Internet. I would feel sorry for the guy who was denied but then he’s part of a mission I really don’t agree with. So screw him.
