Are people going on high alert because of the North Korea long range rocket launch for nothing? Or is this the first move in what is going to be a long, scary time for humanity?
After being warned repeatedly (and strongly) not to do so, North Korea has launched a rocket that they claim is just a satellite.
The optimist in me – I do have one somewhere – is hoping that North Korea is indeed just putting up a satellite type device that is completely non-threatening.
Sure, they’re trying to give the rest of the world a scare, but I hope it doesn’t come to anything more serious.
Update: This did just turn out to be a satellite launch.
