Claims that President Obama’s birth certificate is a forgery are being investigated by Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and his cold case team. The claims came from members of the ultra-conservative Tea Party.
My main question is, Why does it matter if Obama was born in the U.S. or not? I sincerely believe the rules should be changed to allow immigrants to become President.
Secondly, who does this Arpaio guy think he is in taking this on and issuing statements as if he is the judge, jury, and executioner? He’s only a county sheriff, not the sole arbiter of American laws.
Having said that, if it did turn out that Obama’s birth certificate was a fake then that’s a serious deception played on all U.S. citizens. Not that I believe any of this, you understand.
