Here’s a pretty intense trailer for the fan-made Pokemon Apokelypse movie. It doesn’t shy away from guns, profanity, or cheesy lines.

Even though there isn’t a full movie, the creators shot a ton of footage and even wrote a lengthy script. After seeing Batman Begins and arguing over whether to make a GTA or DragonBall Z fan-trailer they settled on Pokemon.
Lee Majdoub (who produced the short) stated, “There were a few jokes we ended up cutting, like Meowth snorting crushed up lines of Rare Candy, and Ash using a Geodude to block a bullet.”
