The Fate of the Furious is the eighth movie in the godawful Fast and Furious franchise. And I’m afraid these films aren’t getting any better as time goes on.
The first couple of Fast and Furious films weren’t actually that bad. They were down to earth and made sense to a degree. But since then this franchise has become nonsensical.
Now, it’s all about big fights, big personalities, and big explosions. So much so that I can imagine Michael Bay gets off while watching them.
IGN seems to like The Fate of the Furious, scoring it a 8/10. Unfortunately, no one will ever be able to convince me this is anything other than a dumb movie for dumb people.
