Last week the Red Bull Flutag competition travelled to Moscow for the first time. The meeting of this bizarre contest and crazy Russians was a match made in heaven.
The idea is to create the weirdest and wackiest flying machine you can. They seem to have the insanity mastered, but the flying part generally needs some work.
Thankfully this competition is about more than the air up there. Efforts are judged by their craft’s eccentricity and their original performance. And those are two qualities the Russians had in spades.
Where else would some crazies in a flying bath be celebrated? Viva La Flutag!
