Hollywood has officially run out of ideas. Or at least it’s run out of good ideas. Surely that’s the only explanation for The Emoji Movie.
Yes, this is a movie all about emojis. And not in a clever, subversive way like The LEGO Movie. It’s just an animated flick for children.
This video sees the What The Flick?! team reviewing The Emoji Movie. If you were being kind you’d say they’re not big fans. If you were being unkind you’d accuse them of ripping this film apart.
There seems to be nothing good about The Emoji Movie. The storyline sucks, the characters are one-dimensional, and even the voice-acting leaves a lot to be desired. What a stinker!
