Steve Jobs hasn’t let medical leave slow him down too much. He was out front today to launch his brand new gizmo, the iPad 2.
Apple has made mark two much thinner, lighter, and faster than the original. It also has some nifty new features, including two cameras for chatting over Facetime.
I’m particularly excited that you can buy an SD card reader for this one, which plugs into the dock connector to boost your storage. And did I mention that it comes in white? True techies will probably still prefer black, but I appreciate the choice.
Best of all, Apple is pricing iPad 2 from $499, just the same as the original. If the new technology hasn’t swayed you, expect to pick up some old models on sale soon!
