It’s a dream of many people to see the world through the eyes of a bird. And while it’s impossible to actually become a bird, this video realizes that dream in a small but significant way.
We get to ride aboard an eagle as it soars majestically around the Mer De Glace region of Chamonix in France. It’s gliding for a time before flapping its wings to stay airborne.
There is some debate as to whether this was actually filmed using a GoPro or another similar action camera, but who really cares when the footage is so beautiful.
It helps that the region is so picturesque, but I can imagine seeing anywhere from this angle would improve it. Hands up who now wants to be an eagle.
