I actually saw this episode of the Price Is Right being a fan of the show (and attending a live taping once), and couldn’t believe what this woman was doing. Not only was she approaching the strategy “bass ackwards,” but she was delusional as to whether or not her bid was the best across the board.
I’m not sure Drew Carey has warmed all previous Price Is Right fans hearts, but I certainly like his approach. Not only is he funny and friendly, but he also calls them out when they do something stupid, whether they realize it or not.
And, not only did this stupid lady make a stupid bid and try to run up on stage once, but she actually did it twice. She was one of the first contestants called out to “come on down” and yet she never quite made it onto the stage. Sad, really.
