This is Chris Turner, a British stand-up comedian who you’ve probably never heard of. I certainly hadn’t heard of him until today, and now I want to see more routines.
He strikes me as a cross between Jimmy Carr and Jack Dee, two British comedians who I adore. He has the one-liners and wordplay of Carr, and the deadpan, monotone delivery of Dee.
This video is from a couple of years ago but is only now getting the attention it deserves thanks to being posted on Reddit.
Turner is still a comedian, but clearly isn’t as famous as he should be. This man should be on TV, especially now that he’s had his teeth fixed.
