Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson are currently in isolation in Australia after testing positive for COVID-19. And I’m sure we all wish him well.
However, Hanks caused controversy when he posted a photo of his lunch one day. Which consisted of some toast smothered in Vegemite.
There’s nothing wrong with Vegemite on toast per se, but the amount Hanks used has caused concern. Vegemite is seriously salty, and so a thin layer is all you need.
Not only that, but Hanks doesn’t appear to have spread butter on the toast first. Which is an essential component of Vegemite on toast. Shame on you, Tom. Shame on you.
