This video shows unbelievable footage of a plane crashing into a river after first clipping a bridge running across it. The plane also takes out a taxi on the bridge.
This footage was all captured by a dashcam on a car traveling just behind the taxi. The passengers mustn’t have believed what they were seeing, or their incredible luck in having survived the ordeal.
Sadly, 31 people have so far been confirmed dead in the wreckage of TransAsia Airways Flight 235, with a further 15 injured, and 12 still missing.
While this video is shocking, no one should let it put them off traveling. Air travel is still extremely safe, with only a tiny minority of planes getting into trouble in this way.
