Well, it’s finally happened. I’ve been in Australia for six and a half years, and this year I completely forgot about the 4th of July.
I didn’t even have a craving for hot dogs or an urge to shoot off fireworks.
I do still feel the need to bake sugar cookies, but that is the whole Christmas in July thing I get every year.
Anyway, nobody really cares I forgot, so let’s just move on.
