“Amber Heard has filed for divorce from Johnny Depp, just three days after the actor’s mother died.
“TMZ is reporting that actress and model Heard, 30, filed her divorce petition on Monday citing ‘irreconcilable differences’.
“Heard and Depp, 52, married in February of 2015 at a private civil ceremony at their home in Los Angeles.
“TMZ reports that Heard is asking for spousal support, and that the couple had no prenuptual agreement.
“Johnny has filed his response through his lawyer, Laura Wasser, and has asked the judge to reject Amber’s claim for spousal support.
“Heard and Depp reportedly first met in 2009, while they were both working on the film The Rum Diary. They began dating in 2012, around the time Depp ended his decade-long relationship with French actress Vanessa Paradis.”
