“Nima Momeni, who is accused of killing Bob Lee, stabbed the Cash App founder with a kitchen knife in an attack that city prosecutors described as “planned” and “deliberate” in court documents NBC Bay Area released Friday.
“Shortly before the murder, the two men argued over the suspect’s sister, before Momeni reportedly drove Lee to a “secluded area” of the city, stabbed him three times and fled, leaving Lee “to slowly die,” the documents alleged.
“Momeni, a 38-year-old resident of Emeryville, was charged with murder by the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office and briefly appeared in court Friday morning.
“His official arraignment was delayed until April 25 because his lawyer, Paula Canny, is on vacation. Canny’s brother, Robert Canny, appeared in her place.”
